Privacy and Legal Information
Overview
You have chosen to access the Web site of The Georgia 9-12 Project (hereafter: "GA912"). Our mission is to educate Georgians in the principles of the United States Constitution, so that we may act in the defense of liberty, capitalism, and inalienable human rights.
We welcome people of every political stripe. We know that many may disagree on various policy positions. We don't care. All that is required is a certain sense or concern that our country is on the wrong track and the desire to work to return it to the Constitutional roots of the Founding. When we have stemmed the damage that has been done to us by our out of control Federal government, we may find that we are not so different after all. At that time, we may find that we will be able to discuss particular issues without screaming at each other. Such solidarity will be a welcome side-effect, but it is not our principal purpose.
Conduct
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a civil manner in any online or face-to-face forum (like periodic group meetings or demonstrations). Anyone who engages in inappropriate behavior toward other members or the public at large will be warned or asked to leave at the sole discretion of the group's leadership.
Our ideal is for us to be the ambassadors of that which is "right, proper and good" about limited Constitutional government, an enlightened and involved citizenry in Georgia and America. We believe that other citizens will be looking to us and our group to set the standard.
We are the thought and action leaders in our communities; in our circles of influence. It is up to us. Vigilance will be difficult and, at times, inconvenient. We must rise above the base partisanship and strident arguments that beset our present political arena. We must be better than our opposition - unfairly or not, the bar has been set high. We must rise to the occasion.
